Baby Yoda has taken the internet by storm, and what could the internet possibly run with more than one of the most adorable characters to come out of a Disney+ original series? How about a cat with iconic ears reminiscent of Baby Yoda?! This Baby Yoda Cat is definitely our favorite discovery of 2019!
We’ve seen Baby Yoda, memes, gifs, merchandise, and more, and now we’re excited to share one of the most adorable Baby Yoda look-a-likes! Baby Yoda Cat was discovered by a volunteer working at the Humane Society of Rowan County NC in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She was brought to a local animal hospital on December 15 where she’s been treated for a wound near her neck and an upper respiratory infection, and while she’s currently on the road to recovery she did come in with some hair loss, fleas, and internal parasites.

While Baby Yoda Cat has been receiving plenty of support from fans and local animal lovers on social media, the Humane Society plans to use her fame to raise awareness for homeless animals in shelters that need to find homes. With the popularity of Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian on Disney+ it’s no surprise that the cat has quickly gone viral garnering media attention from websites like Love Meow and appearances on Good Morning America.
Officials from the Humane Society of Rowan County are sharing updates on Baby Yoda Cat on her Facebook page. On that page they will continue to share all the details of her recovery, and once her wounds are healed and she is spayed, microchipped, and gets her final round of vaccines, she will be available for adoption. Baby Yoda Cat recently celebrated a warm and festive Christmas in the care of her foster parents, and she looks forward to serving as a “spokeskitty” for animals in shelters and finding a permanent home for herself real soon!

Not up-to-date with all things Baby Yoda? Every episode of The Mandalorian is now available on Disney+ so you can easily binge-watch and see what the hype is all about.
How adorable is Baby Yoda Cat?! We love can’t get over those ears and her playful expression and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery as she waits to find her forever home.
