This Grandma is winning homemade stockings this year, especially since she made them on an incredible budget!
If you are looking for a DIY way to bring a bit of Disney magic into your Christmas morning, check out this brilliant idea from a Grandma, who recently wowed other parents and grandparents.
She posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook, sharing her idea of turning £1 Disney tote bags from the Poundshop into adorable Christmas stockings for her grandchildren.

Each of the Disney tote bags only cost her £1 each, and she was able to create Disney Christmas stockings featuring Cinderella, Ariel, Tinkerbell, and Rapunzel.
She posted the photo along with the caption, “Made these for my grandkids. Tote bags from Poundshop.”
You can see in the image she shared of the four different Christmas stocking styles, she also decorated them with festive and glittery sequins.

Like us, other parents were extremely impressed with this Grandma’s work and some even began to ask if they could purchase one of the princess stockings!
One mother wrote, “You clever thing! They’re amazing! Can you make one for me?,” while another Mom said, “Love these you clever woman, a great upcycle idea.”
And one other user really wanted one for her own little girl writing, “So good. I’d love one of these for my little girl if anyone else is feeling crafty?”

Personally, I couldn’t agree more with these Moms and would love one of these for myself (specifically that Tinkerbell one!) These stockings are so clever and only cost a small amount to make. If you are a DIYer, then this could be a huge hit in your house during the holidays.
