Did you ever want to try the poison apple from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Okay, probably not, but thanks to this new Disney dessert, you can try a delicious (and harmless) look-alike!

Disneyland Resort cooks up some pretty amazing treats themed after every season, and this year’s Halloween desserts are more photo-worthy than ever before. The apple tart (that looks just like the Evil Queen’s poison apple) is the latest Halloween treat that caught our eye.

Found at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café on the corner of Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland, the apple tart is a brightly colored treat that doesn’t taste as poisonous as it looks.

This dessert (which costs $5.49 before applying your annual passholder discount) is a layered Halloween treat with sliced apples, a cinnamon-vanilla mousse-like topping, and of course that iconic poison apple frosting on top. For around $5, this is a pretty good-sized snack, and it’s definitely sharable.

Now for our review. We found this dessert to be a bit polarizing. Some of us found it to be light and delicious, while others didn’t think it packed enough flavor. If you’re a fan of super flavorful, decadent desserts that you can often find at Disneyland Resort, then we suggest passing on this one and opting for something like the pumpkin cheesecake and mummy macaron, which you can also find at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. But if you like lighter desserts (and you want something that’s totally photo-worthy), give this one a try.
