Disneyland Resort is the Happiest Place on Earth, and it completely transforms into the place with the happiest haunts every year for Halloween Time! Even though not everyone is the biggest fan of Halloween, that doesn’t mean everyone can’t enjoy Disneyland during the spookiest time of year.
Disneyland Resort offers enjoyable activities, beautiful décor, fantastic food, and amazing attractions and entertainment for guests of all ages, and everything is amplified in the best way during Halloween Time! Here’s why you should visit Disneyland this fall, whether or not you like Halloween.
The Parks are eye-catching and beautiful
The seasonal décor is definitely what we notice first whenever we visit Disneyland throughout the year, and Halloween Time brings fall beauty to the theme parks. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure go all out when it comes to the spooky season, but don’t worry — it’s not scary! Disney Parks make even non-Halloween fans appreciate the season because of the beautiful décor you can find around every corner.
The attractions get even more fun
Disneyland Resort definitely knows what they’re doing when it comes to seasonal events, and Halloween is no different. If you want fun seasonal overlays of attractions you love, Disneyland is the place to be during Halloween. From Halloween versions of your favorite Cars Land attractions in Disney California Adventure to the fan-favorite “Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay for Haunted Mansion Holiday, the attractions at Disneyland Resort always keep guests coming back during Halloween Time.
The food is unforgettable
It’s true: Disney Parks food is delicious, but Halloween is an excuse for Disneyland to cook up some photo-worthy treats that taste as good as they look. We love trying seasonal menu items (especially the desserts!) and some of our favorite eats and sweets are served year after year, with the addition of new ones that we always look forward to tasting. Is there anything cuter than a themed macaron and is there anything more delicious than pumpkin-flavored treats? We don’t think so!
The entertainment is spectacular
We’re just going to say what everyone’s thinking: Disney Parks know what they’re doing when it comes to entertainment. This year, Disneyland guests can watch a version of Halloween Screams nightly, and Oogie Boogie Bash (the separate tickets after-hours Halloween party) is bringing an all-new version of World of Color to Disney California Adventure. And if you’re looking to celebrate Dia de los Muertos or meet Miguel from “Coco,” you’ve got to experience A Musical Celebration of Coco at Plaza de la Familia.Â
The atmosphere is as magical as ever
We love visiting Disneyland during Christmas, the Fourth of July, Easter, and any other time of year, but the atmosphere during Halloween Time is something special. Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Time is a cut above the rest and something we can never get enough of. Maybe it’s the fact that we can still hear the familiar year-round music on Main Street U.S.A. during Halloween Time, maybe it’s the gorgeous orange decorations or the smiling giant Mickey pumpkin, or maybe it’s that Disney magic that we feel whenever we set foot in the parks. We’re not sure, but there’s something about Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time that feels even more magical than any other time of year.Â
