Fans were heartbroken over the events of “Avengers” Endgame” after the epic losses of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Chris Evan’s Captain America. However, it seems we might be seeing the return of one of these major heroes as new reports claim there is a good chance Iron Man could be back for one more Marvel film!
Many Marvel fans know, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man is the man who started The Infinity Saga back in 2008–a saga, which has gone on to gross billions of dollars for both Disney and Marvel Studios. Of course, like everything great, it has to come to an end at some point. Although, some are saying Iron Man’s ending point might be coming a little later than originally expected.

According to new rumors, it’s suggested that Mr. Stark will be back for one last part in Cate Shortland’s stand-alone “Black Widow” film–which is set to hit theaters May 1, 2020. The rumor of Stark’s cameo first appeared a few months ago on several movie news sites. But, the rumors hit a new high when Deadline dropped the news that Downey Jr. would be featured in the film in a recent article listing the many wins at this past weekend’s Saturn Awards.

At this time, not much is known about the stand-alone “Black Widow” film other than the fact that it is a prequel that will star and be produced by Scarlett Johansson. The film was believed to have gone into production back in May when a series of images leaked online showing areas where the film was shooting.
At D23 Expo 2019, a special preview of footage from the new film was released to Expo attendees. Although, the footage never did make it to the masses.
