Brand New Disneyland Parade Announced: "Magic Happens"

D23 has been filled with special announcements and surprises. From a brand new “Moana” attraction coming to Epcot at Walt Disney World to “Avengers Campus” officially being named for the super-hero land at Disneyland’s California Adventure special Disney+ details to highlight anticipated sequels and new Disney films, the surprises just keep pouring in. Fans have been waiting for news like this, and now their dreams have officially come true! A brand new parade will debut in Disneyland’s Magic Kingdom.

During the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel at D23, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Parks, Experiences and Products, announced that this new parade, titled “Magic Happens”, will celebrate “awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of beloved Disney stories.”

Visit your friends from Disney classics such as “Moana” and “Sleeping Beauty”, all lead by the one and only Mickey Mouse and accompanied by the gang. This is the perfect mix of classic and new stories, making it perfect for every generation.

Characters and stories come to life with an energetic musical score and a brand new song produced in partnership with Todrick Hall, a famous YouTuber and social media influencer.

“Magic Happens” will go down Main Street U.S.A. and celebrates awe-inspiring moments of magic at the heart of many Disney stories. D23 expo attendees even got a sneak peek with special guest, Jordan Fisher!

This brand new daytime spectacular comes to Disneyland this Spring and we cannot wait to see how our favorite Disney classics are brought to life!
