Disney Princesses have been serving up style inspiration for years, and their hairstyles make up just part of their overall look. Artists over at Bright Side recently shared images of what some of our favorite Disney ladies would look like with shorter locks, and we are loving the results!
Cinderella

Both Cinderella’s original shoulder length cut and her re-imagined bob work well with her classic look. It may not have been in style for her character (or when this film was produced in 1950) but we have to admit this cut looks great on Disney’s quintessential princess!
Aurora

Understandably, we do not see much of Aurora’s hair during “Sleeping Beauty,” but this pixie cut and bangs combo would have been a fun look for a princess of her time to sport (not to mention a short haircut is probably more comfortable to sleep in!).
Ariel

If shorter hair would be more practical on any Disney Princess, it’s probably Ariel. With the salty ocean water breakage and tangles must be rampant for mermaids, so we think Ariel would be on board with getting a new look.
Pocahontas

“He wants me to be steady…like the river. But it’s not steady at all!” We think Pocahontas would agree- why be steady like the river when you can focus more on a steady (and practical!) haircut?!
