Pack your bags, Disney fans! A “Toy Story 4” carnival is happening this summer, and you won’t want to miss this.
Fans of the ever-popular “Toy Story” film franchise can get their fix of Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their friends this summer at Gardens by the Bay, a family-friendly nature park in Central Singapore. In collaboration with The Walt Disney Company and the Singapore Tourism Board, Gardens by the Bay is hosting a “Toy Story 4”-themed carnival event from June 15-30 to bring the magic of Disney and fun of Pixar to families in honor of the annual Children’s Festival.
Families and children attending the event can look forward to activities meant to inspire friendship and teamwork, from racing self-driving cars to help recharge Buzz Lightyear to a Bo Peep’s Adventure obstacle course. The carnival will also feature game booths themed after Woody and Jessie, so there is something for every “Toy Story” fan at this event. Plus, at the end of every day, guests can witness a “Toy Story 4”-inspired light show. How awesome is that?
According to Gardens by the Bay, this event is made possible by the three-year relationship between The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia and the Singapore Tourism Board in order to provide fun and unique experiences to families in Singapore. Here’s how Gardens by the Bay describes the event, according to their official website:
Children’s Festival 2019 will see the transformation of Supertree Grove at the Gardens into a colourful carnival filled with family-friendly games and activities, inspired by Buzz, Woody and the gang in an all-new Toy Story adventure.
Some of the experiences festival-goers can expect include Star Adventurer, where young visitors can race in self-driving cars in order to recharge Buzz Lightyear; and Bo Peep’s Adventure, a fun obstacle course for children to test their speed, agility and endurance. There will also be carnival game booths featuring Woody and Jessie. To top it off, the Festival will feature the first ever Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 4 themed marble run track in Singapore.
The day ends on a magical note with a special Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 4 inspired-edition of the Garden Rhapsody, a signature light and music show by Gardens by the Bay, to dazzle visitors with the magnificent sight of the Supertrees.
A carnival is the perfect theme for a “Toy Story 4” event this summer, considering it is the setting for part of the upcoming film premiering this June. Take a look at this trailer featuring the carnival in the film below!
