A New Low? Latest Guest Incident Makes a Stink in the Haunted Mansion

What’s the worst thing that another guest could possibly do to you while you’re visiting a Disney Park? There are plenty of options here.

One of the worst parts of any Disney vacation is running into a rude guest who just doesn’t understand that they’re not alone in these parks. However, one Disney guest found out the hard way that there are some terrible things that he hadn’t even considered that guests can do without even thinking.

You are waiting in the long queue and are slowly ushered into the Haunted Mansion by one of the cast members. You slowly walk into the stretching room, and that same ghostly cast member tells you to “kindly move your bodies into the dead center of the room.”

The lights start to dim, and your “ghost host” takes over the narration. At this point, there are several annoying things that other guests can do to ruin your experience.

The most obvious thing people do nearly every time they enter the stretching room is talk over the ghost host. Sometimes, people will simply talk along with the host, while others just don’t seem that interested and continue conversations over him.

However, this is worse even than that. And no, it wasn’t recording the stretching room with their camera light on. This was worse.

According to @DisneyScoopGuy, who went to Disneyland over 230 times last year and plans on making it there over 300 times this year, someone crop-dusted the stretching room. That’s right, in that small, enclosed space, someone farted, stinking out all the other guests.

Those who commented on the social media post had a little fun at Matt’s expense. One wrote, “too bad you couldn’t find a way out,” and another wrote, “is this stench actually stretching?”

While it is kind of funny, it’s also gross to be stuck in that room with that smell. It adds a new layer to the Haunted Mansion, turning it into a scratch-and-sniff area.

Next time you head into the stretching room, be careful of the smell, or you could be the 1,000th guest.
