The number of rides and attractions at Walt Disney World is overwhelming to say the least. Within Disney’s four Florida gates, there are many fun, thrilling, and enjoyable experiences that guests can choose from. And with so many rides and attractions, there’s bound to be an issue or two occasionally.
At EPCOT resides one of the most historic attractions in all of Disney World, The American Adventure. While not thrilling, this experience is incredibly detailed, informative, entertaining, and patriotic.
However, the attraction loses its serious tone when one of the most famous American Presidents loses his pants.
During a hilarious incident several years ago, the belt on the Teddy Roosevelt animatronic broke, causing the former president’s pants to fall down mid-show.
A photo of the mishap was taken and shared by @TammyTuckey, who was watching in the crowd.
Teddy’s belt broken and his pants are down! Told the team at AA and they’re gonna get him a new belt. #EPCOT

This is far from the first time we have seen malfunctions happen at the American Adventure with one figure even getting stuck during the show. We hope Teddy got his pants back and bought a better belt!
EPCOT acts as the epicenter of Walt Disney’s vision for tomorrow. Alongside the American Adventure, guests can explore all kinds of others rides and attractions.
Travelers can check out Spaceship Earth for a journey through time and then head over for some out-of-this-world thrills on Mission: SPACE. Guests can enjoy World Showcase and have fun on incredible rides like Frozen Ever After, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Visitors can also stop by the Imagination Institute to catch up with Figment on Journey Into Imagination and then hit both Soarin’ Around The World and Living with the Land inside The Land Pavilion.
Have you ever witnessed something like this happen at Disney World?
