According to a July 2026 monthly summary shared by WDW Active Crime, there were 469 calls logged for service connected to Walt Disney World during the month. The report covers a wide range of incidents, from traffic crashes and trespassing complaints to medical emergencies and criminal investigations.
While many of the calls involved routine public safety matters, several more serious incidents also appeared in the monthly totals.
Traffic Incidents Lead the List
Vehicle crashes were by far the most common reason deputies responded, accounting for 59 calls during July. That was followed by 39 trespasser calls, 33 verbal fights, 25 suspicious incidents, and 23 well-being checks, according to the report.
Battery-related calls also remained common. The summary lists 22 battery calls that were gone on arrival, another 18 battery incidents, and two aggravated battery cases.
Elsewhere, deputies responded to 21 separate 911 emergency calls, seven petty thefts, six stolen-vehicle reports, six physical fights, and five grand theft cases.
Although Walt Disney World welcomes tens of thousands of guests each day, the overwhelming majority of visits end without incident. Many police calls involve situations that are resolved quickly or turn out to be less serious than initially reported.

Several Serious Incidents Stand Out
Beyond the more routine calls, the July report included several categories that naturally draw attention.
Deputies responded to two burglary calls involving hotels, two missing person cases, two missing endangered person calls, two child neglect investigations, and two threats or assault incidents.
The report also recorded one aggravated assault, one fraud or counterfeiting investigation, one fishing violation, one hit-and-run, and a weapon discharge call.
It’s important to note that calls for service reflect why law enforcement was dispatched. They do not necessarily indicate that a crime occurred or that arrests were made.
Weapon Discharge Call Linked to Cast Member Housing Area
The single weapon discharge call listed in the July summary appears to correspond with a reported incident on July 14, when law enforcement responded to Flamingo Crossings Village, the housing community used by many Walt Disney World Cast Members and Disney College Program participants.
According to publicly reported dispatch information, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received the call at approximately 7:41 p.m. after a reported weapon discharge at the complex. At the time, neither Disney nor the Sheriff’s Office publicly released additional details about what occurred, and it remains unclear whether anyone was injured or whether criminal charges resulted.
Because dispatch logs reflect the initial reason for a response, they should not be interpreted as confirmation that a crime ultimately occurred or that the initial report proved accurate.

Monthly police summaries provide an interesting look at the wide variety of situations deputies handle around Walt Disney World.
With millions of guests visiting the resort each year, calls range from lost property and medical assistance to traffic accidents, disputes, and criminal investigations. Many incidents are minor, while others require more extensive law enforcement responses.
The July report serves as another reminder that operating a destination the size of Walt Disney World requires constant coordination between Disney security, emergency responders, and local law enforcement to help keep guests, Cast Members, and surrounding communities safe.
A Reminder for Walt Disney World Guests
While the vast majority of Walt Disney World vacations are filled with happy memories, there has been a noticeable increase in reports of disruptive guest behavior in recent years.
