Mickey and Minnie Mouse went shopping for some fresh outfits for the 2026 Halloween season at Disneyland Resort, and the Southern California Disney park just shared a sneak peek at their new looks. Let’s check it out!
A Not-So-Spooky Makeover For Mickey and Minnie Mouse

On June 2, Disneyland Resort shared all the details about its upcoming Halloween and fall celebrations, including a new look for the Mickey and Minnie Mouse meet-and-greets at Disneyland Park. Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) shared this concept art of the Disney characters in their orange and black attire on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Both characters are wearing harlequin-inspired designs featuring orange-and-black motifs and mismatched patterns. Mickey Mouse sports fingerless orange gloves over his regular white gloves, a diamond-patterned tophat, and an asymmetrical patterned vest. Minnie Mouse wears a puff sleeve dress with mismatched pattern tights and Halloween-themed bow details.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s friends, like Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck, are also expected to debut matching Halloween outfits later this year. However, Disneyland Resort has not shared concept art for these not-so-scary looks.
Disneyland Park guests can meet Mickey Mouse and friends in their Halloween costumes in the Town Square area on Main Street, U.S.A. The characters will likely debut these outfits when the Halloween season kicks off at Disneyland Resort on August 21, 2026.
Halloween at Disneyland Resort

Halloween at Disneyland Resort kicks off on August 21, though the first Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park occurs on August 18. Tickets for the after-hours event go on sale on June 18, and an exclusive D23 member event will take place on September 27. The Plaza de la Familia, a Día de los Muertos- and Coco (2017)- inspired experience at Disney California Adventure Park, also begins on August 21 but continues through November 2.
