Walt Disney World Resort has removed yet another 1994 feature from Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park. This is the final structure of its kind to disappear from the Most Magical Place on Earth in recent months. Here’s what Central Florida Disney Park guests need to know.

In early June, Magic Kingdom Park guests watched as two rocket-shaped metal towers disappeared from the Main Street, U.S.A., and Cinderella Castle hub entrances to Tomorrowland. Crews began disassembling the largest and final third tower, located near the entrance to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, a few weeks ago. The roof was removed first, while a tan fabric scrim temporarily covered part of the rusted metal tower.

Now, the removal is complete. On Monday, WDWNT reported that the final pillar had been removed from the hub-side entrance to Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park. The outlet shared this photo on Facebook:

From Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Magic Kingdom Park guests could see a green tarp and other construction equipment on the ground where the large tower once stood. However, a green tarp and other debris have been removed from the site of one of the smaller towers that Disney cast members removed earlier in June.

During the Cinderella Castle repainting project that recently wrapped up, crews drained the moat, allowing Walt Disney World Resort to finally finish repainting the large rocks at the entrance to Tomorrowland. Disney has spent the last few years slowly repainting the rocks, which were also added to the Magic Kingdom in 1994.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t issued any public statements about the ongoing construction in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park. It’s unclear whether Disney plans to remove or add any additional features to the 54-year-old futuristic theme park land.
