Shortly before 1:45 p.m. on June 22, deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a “physical fight” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, known for monitoring police scanner activity at the Central Florida Disney parks, shared the 911 call log:

The Google Maps screenshot posted by @WDWActiveCrime shows the emergency response on a trail leading to the entrance of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park; however, it’s unclear whether this is where the physical fight occurred. Scanner activity at Walt Disney World Resort is often tracked to generalized addresses rather than the actual location of the incident.

Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement about the physical fight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on Monday afternoon, which is normal. It’s unclear whether anyone was seriously injured. More information about the incident and those involved may become available if criminal charges are filed.

This incident follows another law enforcement response to a call about a “physical fight” at EPCOT on Sunday afternoon, June 21. No additional information about that incident is available at this time.

What Walt Disney World Resort Guests Should Know

When encountering an emergency response at the Disney parks, guests are encouraged to follow all instructions and give space to authorities, cast members, and other guests involved. Walt Disney World Resort works to reduce the impact of emergency responses on guests on property and to protect the privacy of anyone directly impacted by the incidents.
