This summer, a 31-year-old man from Washington D.C. was arrested after a Cast Member spotted him urinating in broad daylight on a pedestrian bridge at Walt Disney World’s shopping and entertainment complex, Disney Springs. The man reportedly relieved himself against a wall on the bridge that connects Disney Springs to the Cast Services parking lot—an area frequented by Disney employees transitioning between shifts.

According to a detailed arrest report recently released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just before 3 p.m. on August 20, 2025. A Cast Member walking to her vehicle noticed the man standing by the bridge with his shorts pulled down and his genitals exposed as he urinated in public view. She immediately alerted authorities.
“(The Cast Member) observed a male urinating along the wall of the bridge with his penis exposed,” the report states. “(She) clearly observed… the male’s penis to be exposed.”
An off-duty Orange County Sheriff’s deputy nearby responded to the call and placed the man under arrest. Once in custody, the man requested an attorney, and deputies ceased further questioning, as is standard procedure.
No Surveillance Footage, No Charges
Despite the arrest, Disney Security was unable to locate any surveillance footage capturing the act. In the absence of definitive video evidence, the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida reviewed the case and ultimately declined to file formal charges.
“From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution,” the court document read.
Still, Disney did not let the matter go quietly. The man received an indefinite trespass warning, effectively banning him from all Walt Disney World properties moving forward. That means no more theme parks, no more resorts, no more shopping trips to Disney Springs—nothing, indefinitely.
Efforts by media outlets, including WDWNT, to contact the man’s legal representation went unanswered.
Not an Isolated Incident

If this sounds shocking, it’s not exactly a one-off.
In fact, it’s the second time in less than a year that a guest has been arrested at Walt Disney World for public urination and exposure.
In September 2024, an 80-year-old man with known prostate issues was taken into custody after a Cast Member saw him urinating in the bushes near the Transportation & Ticket Center, just outside Magic Kingdom. In that case, too, the State Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue charges.
The elderly man’s lawyer later argued the arrest was an overreach, describing the situation as a medical emergency, not a criminal act. “The arrest humiliated my client and ruined his family’s vacation,” the attorney stated at the time.
A Pattern of Guest Misconduct at Disney Springs
Disney Springs, known for its upscale restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options, has increasingly become a hotspot for guest-related arrests and behavioral issues—especially involving intoxicated individuals.
For example, earlier this year, a resurfaced bodycam video showed deputies arresting two brothers—Juan and Jimmy Barcia—who allegedly refused to leave the AMC Theatres at Disney Springs after watching Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Disney security initially asked the brothers to leave the premises, but they resisted. When Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrived, the situation escalated. The brothers filmed the officers with their phones, refused to comply, and insisted on seeing surveillance footage before being escorted off-property.
Juan Barcia could be heard yelling, “Know that you’re losing your job soon,” at one deputy before being forcibly restrained against a wall and handcuffed.
The situation spiraled quickly. Even though AMC employees declined to press charges, the brothers were charged with trespassing after a formal warning and banned from Walt Disney World property.
More Recent Drama: Theft at Oakley

The string of odd (and criminal) guest behavior doesn’t stop there. Just last year, Inside the Magic reported that police arrested a father-daughter duo for allegedly stealing nearly $1,500 in merchandise from the Oakley store at Disney Springs.
The pair was tracked, confronted, and banned from all Disney properties after being booked into Orange County Jail on felony theft charges.
Public Urination May Be Petty—but Not Without Consequences
While public urination might seem like a low-level offense, it becomes more serious when it involves exposure, especially in places with children and families—which is essentially everywhere on Disney property.
Even when charges are dropped, being arrested for such an act can result in:
-
Lifetime or indefinite bans from Disney parks
-
Criminal records (if prosecuted)
-
Public embarrassment and press attention
-
Travel plans disrupted and vacations ended abruptly
Disney maintains tight control over its brand image and guest experience, so even if law enforcement backs off, the company itself enforces its own rules without hesitation.
Disney Doesn’t Play Around
As the D.C. man’s case shows, even if prosecutors decline to act, Disney’s internal consequences can still be severe. The indefinite ban from all Walt Disney World properties is a serious penalty that many don’t fully understand until it’s too late.
Whether it’s urinating on a bridge, refusing to leave a movie theater, or trying to walk out with high-end sunglasses, Walt Disney World has become increasingly proactive in documenting and banning guests who violate park rules or the law.
So the next time nature calls at Disney Springs—find a restroom. There are plenty.
Because one wrong move, even just a moment of poor judgment, can get you banned from the Most Magical Place on Earth.
