Guests should take note that the location will be closing down indefinitely in just over a month.

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort blends vintage seaside charm with modern convenience, offering guests a deluxe stay along Crescent Lake. Opened in 1996, the resort features both the BoardWalk Inn and BoardWalk Villas, placing visitors within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with boat and Skyliner access nearby.
Themed after turn-of-the-century Atlantic City, the boardwalk itself comes alive with dining, entertainment, and recreation. Guests can enjoy Flying Fish, Trattoria al Forno, casual bites at the pizza window, or nightlife at Atlantic Dance Hall. The newly opened Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers adds a new–but expensive–touch, serving elegant desserts and full meals in a storybook-inspired setting.

As one of Disney World’s Deluxe Resort hotels, the Boardwalk is home to many other food, merchandise, and shopping locations, including the fine art gallery, Promenade.
However, those hoping to visit this gallery over the upcoming holiday season will not be able to do so.
According to Disney World cast members, per reports, the Promenade fine art gallery at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn will be closing down on October 19.
There is currently no confirmation of what will move into the location following the closure, but reports state that the items sold at Promenade will be available somewhere else on the property–whether in another location at the BoardWalk or a different place entirely is yet to be confirmed.

Promenade operates galleries at two other locations in Florida, one at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and another outside of the Walt Disney World Resort in St. Petersburg. The closure of the BoardWalk location is yet another change at this resort, following the shutdown of places like Jellyrolls, which closed earlier this year.
The closures are part of a wider transformation operation that is hitting multiple resort hotels at Walt Disney World. Other Deluxe Resorts like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Contemporary Resort in the Magic Kingdom area are also undergoing extensive changes to enhance the guest experience.
