A New Era of EPCOT

After finally opening the rest of World Celebration in EPCOT last year with the launch of the festival hub CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, EPCOT’s World Discovery neighborhood debuted its new Test Track just last month.

Inspired by the original World of Motion, the new Test Track, sponsored by General Motors, began welcoming guests on July 22. In conjunction with its opening, Test Track also replaced Soarin’ Around the World as a Tier 1 experience for the Walt Disney World Resort’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass service.

While Test Track may have been one of the more splashier changes to Disney World theme park to happen recently, another update has hit the World Showcase, specifically the France pavilion.

The France Pavilion at EPCOT

The France Pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase is a slice of Parisian charm right in the heart of Disney World. Walking through the pavilion feels like stepping into a quaint Paris street, complete with classic architecture and even a scaled replica of the Eiffel Tower rising above.

Foodies will find themselves in heaven with spots like Chefs de France, serving up authentic French dishes, and Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, perfect for grabbing freshly baked pastries and treats.

Of course, no visit is complete without experiencing Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a cleverly designed dark ride that shrinks guests down to the size of Remy for an energetic and whimsical journey through a Parisian kitchen.

With live French musicians and performers adding to the atmosphere, the France Pavilion blends culture, cuisine, and fun to deliver a truly immersive taste of France.

A Change Hits France

EPCOT’s France Pavilion has just upped its entertainment game with the debut of Acrobatico!, a brand-new live acrobatic show that brings high-flying thrills to the heart of the World Showcase.

This energetic production features incredibly skilled acrobats performing jaw-dropping stunts, flips, and synchronized moves, all set against the picturesque Parisian backdrop that the pavilion is known for.

Running multiple times daily, Acrobatico! gives guests plenty of chances to catch the action, whether stopping by between rides or making the pavilion a leading destination. The show runs Sunday through Thursday (no shows on a Friday per the official Walt Disney World calendar) at 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5:15 p.m.

The debut of Acrobatico! comes not long after Disney cancelled the Forces of Nature by AntiGravity performance at EPCOT.
