An upcoming Harry Potter series has confirmed several actors.
Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions is a new audiobook collection that’s unrelated to the HBO series that’s in development. However, it also features an all-new cast.
But to say that the cast is entirely new isn’t necessarily true. While none have been seen in the Wizarding World before, one actor was previously cast in the HBO remake: Arabella Stanton, who will bring Hermione Granger to life in live action following Emma Watson.

Stanton, currently best known for playing Matilda in the West End musical stage show of the same name, was cast earlier this year alongside Dominic McLaughlin and Alastair Stout, who will play Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, respectively.
Following the announcement, a clip of Stanton auditioning for an undisclosed role went viral and was praised by many Potterheads who described the young star as a perfect candidate to play Hogwarts’ brightest witch.
So far, HBO’s series has confirmed over 20 actors, which also includes John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore), Nick Frost (Rubeus Hagrid), and Paapa Essiedu (Severus Snape).

However, on August 5, Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions stole the spotlight from the HBO series. It announced Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, a role yet to be filled — or at least announced — by HBO for the live-action series.
Another name on the list that surprised fans was Arabella Stanton, who’s now the second actor to play their character in two separate timelines following Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the eight films and will return to the role in the Broadway version of Cursed Child. Though we’ve yet to see Stanton in the HBO series, filming is already underway.
