Jurassic fans eager to sink their teeth into some exciting new dinosaurs needn’t look any further than Jurassic World Rebirth (2025), which stars Marvel Cinematic Universe legend Scarlett Johansson in the lead role. As revealed in the official trailer, the upcoming sequel—the seventh film in the series—will introduce the franchise’s first-ever mutant dinosaur.
But there are plenty more bizarre dinosaurs waiting to be unleashed, as it’s not the only Jurassic installment heading our way.

A first-person action-adventure game titled “Jurassic Park: Survival” promises to feature “special dinosaurs” in addition to those from the original 1993 film (exactly what they are is anyone’s guess). And the third “Jurassic World Evolution” will likely allow players to create their own genetically engineered dinosaur hybrids, just like in the previous games.
Meanwhile, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 3 is heading to Netflix this April. Chaos Theory, and its precursor, Camp Cretaceous, are no strangers to revealing weird dinos.

But if those four major upcoming sequels weren’t enough, yet another Jurassic installment has been revealed, and it features the weirdest-looking dinosaurs the franchise has ever seen: “The Sandbox x Jurassic World.”
Universal Products & Experiences and Amblin Entertainment, also responsible for the upcoming “Jurassic Park: Survival” alongside developer and publisher Saber Interactive, has collaborated with The Sandbox, “a leading social gaming and metaverse platform and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands,” per the official description.
Watch the official trailer for the new interactive metaverse experience below:
“Blocky” dinosaurs are nothing new in the Jurassic franchise, as it has already collaborated with LEGO on numerous projects. But there’s nothing particularly glamorous about these particular lab creations. Whether or not this game will be a huge hit remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that these are the worst-looking dinosaurs yet.
Still, it looks like a ton of fun, as fans can enjoy playable characters, familiar dinosaurs, and plenty of exclusive, limited edition digital collectibles.
