When it comes to vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort, guests have nearly three dozen resort hotels from which to choose. Each hotel has its own unique theme, and there are hotels for nearly every budget. There are even a number of hotels on property — mainly in the Disney Springs area — that have great perks but are not owned by Disney.

There are also hotels to fit nearly every budget — from Value Resorts like Pop Century to Moderates like Coronado Springs, all the way up to stunning Deluxe Resorts like Animal Kingdom Lodge.

While each guest has their own favorite Disney World Resort hotel, some of the most popular are ones closer to the theme parks. Disney’s Polynesian Village, Contemporary Resort, and the Grand Floridian might immediately come to mind, as they are in sight of the Magic Kingdom.

However, there are three others that are so close that guests can walk to not one, but two theme parks! Disney’s Yacht Club, Beach Club, and BoardWalk Inn are incredibly close to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

However, the BoardWalk is so much more than just one hotel. Disney’s BoardWalk is full of great shopping and dining spots, like AbracadaBar, Flying Fish, and the newly opened Cake Bake Shop.

If you are heading to the Walt Disney World Resort, we suggest that you run, not walk, to Disney’s BoardWalk to enjoy one of the newest and most controversial snacks: the Pickle Corn Dog from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs.

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has been a staple in the Downtown Disney District of the Disneyland Resort, and the Pickle Corn Dog gained near-immediate fame and popularity. The corn dog stand became so popular that Disney decided to bring it to the East Coast. After months of waiting, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs finally opened at Disney’s BoardWalk in August.

While there are several fantastic options on the menu, the one causing Disney foodies to be divided is its signature Pickle Dog. With this dish, a large dill pickle is hollowed out and stuffed with a hot dog. It is then dipped in cornmeal batter, covered in Panko breadcrumbs, and deep-fried to crispy perfection. It is served with a bag of potato chips and a side of peanut butter — yes, peanut butter.

If you like corn dogs and pickles, then this snack — actually, it’s large enough to be a meal — will quickly become one of your favorites. You may find the peanut butter unnecessary, or you might find it the perfect addition.

If you’re looking to try something different, we also can’t forget to mention the GIANT mozzarella stick. It is more than a foot long and fried in perfectly seasoned breadcrumbs. It is also served with a bag of potato chips and a side of marinara sauce.

And you can top both of these delicious treats off with some fresh-squeezed lemonade. The regular lemonade is perfectly sweet and tart, while the strawberry lemonade has the ideal amount of strawberry flavor.

No matter what you choose, you will find yourself heading back to Disney’s Boardwalk trip after trip!
