A Walt Disney World Resort guest has shared a warning after their toddler “smashed” their face in a hotel room. The Disney Park guest told others to seek available assistance from their Disney Resort hotel front desk to prevent another unfortunate incident.

Walt Disney World Resort is home to dozens of themed hotels, including Value Resorts like Disney’s Pop Century and the All-Star Resorts to Deluxe Disney Vacation Club (DVC) offerings at places like Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests can even stay in their own tent or RV at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!

No matter where you stay, Walt Disney World Resort offers exclusive benefits to on-property hotel guests, including early theme park entry, advanced access to dining reservations, convenient transportation, and more. But the Disney Resort hotels also offer some amenities that some guests don’t know about, like Pack ‘n Play play yards and cribs for the youngest family members.

Disney Resort hotels also provide bed rails for all of their standard bed sizes, which one Walt Disney World Resort guest recently warned could’ve prevented a tragic incident on their vacation.

Redditor u/TheJudoCrab recently responded to a discussion about Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms, detailing a recent upsetting incident involving their three-year-old.

“Pro tip, you can request rails for any of the beds to help prevent your kiddos from falling out of the beds and smashing their faces like my 3 year old did a few days ago!” the Disney Park guest wrote.

Although the guest didn’t provide further details, the toddler doesn’t seem to have suffered any lasting injuries from the incident.

Guests can request amenities like bed rails at the Disney Resort hotel front desk or by calling before check-in. Visit the Walt Disney World Resort website to learn about each hotel’s offerings.
