Guests hoping to catch Fantasmic at Disneyland in 2025 may have a harder time doing so, as the official resort calendar lists far fewer performances than normal. According to the Fantasmic webpage, performances will be held every day from January 1 to January 6. Performances pick up on January 10 and 11, but no further showtimes for Fantasmic are listed.
Curiously, the calendar for Fantasmic Dining Packages tells a different story, one still missing quite a few performances. Performances are slated for January 17-19, 24-25, and January 31.
Performances will be held the following month on February 1, 7-8, and 14-16. On performance dates, guests can catch Fantasmic at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

These cuts follow a major change to Fantasmic’s operating schedule in the fall, which saw the show cut back on weekday performances. This marked the first time Fantasmic did not perform seven days a week during the holiday season.
While unconfirmed, it’s theorized these cuts have something to do with recent changes to live performances across the Disneyland Resort. Earlier this year, union stunt actors were cut from Disneyland’s Spider-Man Stuntornic show, with the resort’s Doctor Strange show closing permanently as well.
Fantasmic is perhaps the most iconic and famous of Disney’s theme park shows. It features a wide assortment of characters, stunts, pyrotechnics, and other effects. The show has been running since 1992 and has been brought to several other Disney resorts, including Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Thousands of guests stand in line to watch Fantasmic every available night, though considering the changes to the 2025 schedule, visitors may have a harder time snagging seats.
Fantasmic returned to Disneyland back in May, a year after the show’s massive Maleficent dragon caught fire mid-performance. Flames engulfed the large dragon right in front of guests, though luckily, no one was injured. The show was sent on indefinite hiatus as Disneyland investigated and reworked Fantasmic until it eventually returned this summer.
