Last week, an adult Disneyland Resort guest pushed a child off a Cars Land attraction for a photo-op. A horrified onlooker shared their experience on social media, decrying so-called “Disney Adults” as “self-entitled assholes.”

“Disney Adults” have long been criticized for taking up space at family-friendly theme parks like Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Earlier this year, some Disney Park guests claimed that the theme parks were so full of adult guests that children could no longer enjoy their visits.

Most alleged “Disney Adults” unproblematically enjoy their Disney Parks vacations without negatively impacting families. Unfortunately, the actions of a loud minority have tainted the reputation of grown-up Disney theme park fans.

On Friday, Redditor u/sleestakarmy witnessed an adult Disneyland Resort guest shove a child off of a Halloween-themed vehicle in Cars Land. Luckily, these decorative cars don’t move, so the risk of injury to the young Disney California Adventure Park guest was much lower.

“In [Disney California Adventure Park] on Friday I watched an adult push a kid off and out of the way to get a photo on one of the Halloween themed Cars,” the Disney Park guest wrote.

They didn’t say if the child was injured but noted that the “entitled” behavior of adult Disneyland Resort guests dissuaded them from ever returning to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, or Downtown Disney District.

“This was my first and probably last time I will set foot in there,” the guest said. “Disney adults are the most self-entitled assholes.”

If you witness another Disney Park guest behaving inappropriately, notify the nearest Disney cast member. It’s best to allow Disneyland Resort employees to contact theme park security rather than intervene in tense situations with strangers.
