In 1995, The Walt Disney Company teamed up with Pixar Animation Studios and created the world’s first full-length feature film created completely by computer animation — Toy Story. Since then, the two studios have created dozens of incredible films, including Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), Ratatouille (2007), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), Coco (2017), Elemental (2023), and more.
Pixar has made such an impact on Disney fans that, in 2018, Disney celebrated its first-ever Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort. There were specialty food and beverages, limited-time merchandise, rare character meet-and-greets, and a nightly fireworks show.

Unfortunately, Pixar Fest did not return to the parks after its 2018 debut, but that all changed in 2024 when Disney announced the return of the popular festival.
Once again, there were specialty foods and beverages and a ton of merch. Then, there were some Pixar characters never before seen in the parks, like Luca and Alberto from Luca (2021) and Ian and Barley from Onward (2020)!
And this time, a brand-new parade was developed — Better Together: A Pixar Pals Parade. The parade featured new floats from movies like Luca, Soul, and Up. There was a new song, skaters, and a ton of memorable moments.

Pixar Fest ended the first week of August, and with that, the Better Together Parade was put into Disney’s parade vault.
However, we have now learned that Better Together will be back, and Disney is currently looking for performers to fill the roles!
According to the Disney Auditions website, Disney is looking to cast multiple roles on the parade, including members of the boy band 4*Town from Turning Red (2022). And those aren’t the only Turning Red character roles they need to fill. Disney is also looking for actors to play Mei’s father Jin Lee, and her friends Miriam, Abby, and Priya.
In addition to Turning Red, Disney is also casting for inline skaters, who were prominently featured in the parade.
Disney has not yet shared when Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade will return. We also do not know if the parade will be held at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
Better Together is not the only parade returning to The Happiest Place on Earth in 2025.
Just a few weeks ago, Disney teased the return of the Paint the Night Parade, which was created for Disney’s 60th Anniversary celebration. We do not have any details on the return of Paint the Night, but we can’t wait for Disney to announce a return date!
