Following a sudden closure and a massive cancellation, a centennial theme park is ready to bounce back with a jaw-dropping announcement.

Founded in 1906 by Milton S. Hershey, Hersheypark has become one of America’s most popular theme parks. The nearly 120-year-old Pennsylvania icon is home to rides and attractions for the whole family, Hersheypark Stadium, an 11-acre zoo, and Hershey’s Chocolate Tour, the free, one-of-a-kind, create-your-own candy bar attraction.

Unfortunately, August was not particularly kind to the beloved Pennsylvania theme park.

Like many theme parks in the United States, Hersheypark was forced to shut its gates earlier this month as a preventive measure due to the impact of Tropical Storm Debby.

While operations resumed the next day, the theme park was struck by more heartbreaking news shortly after this shutdown. Green Day canceled their presentation at Hersheypark Stadium and rescheduled their performance for September 2.

Fortunately, Hersheypark is ready to bounce back from these unfortunate news and has revealed a new thrilling attraction arriving at the park in 2025!

In addition to iconic high-thrill attractions like Wildcat’s Revenge and Skyrush, Hersheypark is famous for turning fan-favorite candies and turning them into fun, thrilling attractions, including Hershey Triple Tower (themed to Kisses, Reese’s, and Hershey chocolate) and Jolly Rancher Remix.

Continuing this exciting (and delicious) trend, a new candy is joining the iconic Hersheypark skyline.
