Guests sparked debate online after sharing a unique magical (or less-than-magical) experience at Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are packed with thrills and fun for the whole family, with the theme parks gearing up to welcome even more magic with new attractions, themed areas, and possibly a third theme park!

However, parkgoers may face unexpected experiences during their visit, ranging from amazing surprises to unpleasant situations. And a guest sparked envy among Disney fans with their fortune during their visit to Disneyland Park.

Redditor u/Bunch_of_Nerds recently shared a video of their unique experience at Disneyland Park after ending up stuck in Space Mountain, a fan-favorite Tomorrowland attraction, commenting that the lights had been turned on in the attraction and that several cast members came to push the cars, sending them off the tracks again.

The user added that they, and surely all the guests stopped during this breakdown “Got to ride a second time!” You can see the video below or click here to watch it.

The unusual experience sparked envy among fellow netizens and long-time Disney fans, who stated that after years of visiting the parks, they had never lived a similar experience.

User u/mr_pinks_tip_policy commented, “Dangit. 42 years visiting Disneyland often, 5 WDW trips and 1 Disneyland Paris trip in the 90’s and I’ve never been broken down or evacuated on a ride.” Redditor u/regretdeletion mentioned they felt “cheated,” as they had “only ever been evacuated once, and it was just walking out of Pinocchio’s Daring Journey,” a Fantasyland icon.

However, many readers took the opportunity to share their own unique stories of breakdowns and evacuations at Disneyland and Disney World.

Redditor u/FaronTheHero commented they had been evacuated from Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Splash Mountain, with both experiences being pretty quick. They added that “the best experience [they] have ever had at Disneyland” has been an evacuation from Indiana Jones Adventure. Their comment reads:

“Indiana Jones was the best experience I have ever had at Disneyland. We stopped at the snake and they walked us through the rest of the ride and gave a full tour. It was absolutely amazing and we got to see the very real 4 ton boulder continuously spinning on its struts. I literally get excited any time I’m on a ride and it even slightly breaks down and I’ll ride Indy multiple times a day cause it’s notorious for constantly breaking down, in hopes one day I’ll get an experience that special again.”

Users also mentioned evacuations from Spaceship Earth in EPCOT, Haunted Mansion, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Alice in Wonderland in Disneyland, and “it’s a small world,” which appears to be a nightmare for many fans.

Inside the Magic witnessed a similar experience during a recent visit to Disney California Adventure when Radiator Springs Racers completely stopped for 10 to 15 minutes. Cast members resumed operations after the unexpected breakdown and offered guests a chance to ride the beloved attraction again before exiting the vehicles as compensation, to which everyone gladly agreed.
