Following news of the Sleeping Beauty Castle cracking at Disneyland Paris, another surprising update has been revealed regarding the bridge into the castle itself. Much like Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, guests can access the main castle at Disneyland Park in Paris via a bridge that crosses over a beautiful moat. However, new photos show that this bridge has been left in a dire state, with rockwork and concrete collapsing.

Disneyphile (@DisneyphileLIVE) shared the photos on X (Twitter), revealing that the bridge is cracking and crumbling after years of use.

These photos are quite shocking, and though it may not be an immediate safety risk, it’s certainly concerning that so many guests walk across this bridge every day. Recently Inside the Magic reported on other areas of the Disneyland Paris Resort that are in desperate need of some renovation, including the stunning Sleeping Beauty Castle itself. The tops of the castle are faded and worn out, either from years of weathering or due to the park’s nighttime shows, which often include pyrotechnics and smoke.

“How can we still allow guests to use this bridge,” asked a user responding to the post. “Huge paving stones are falling under the weight and humidity? It’s a huge risk, they are unconscious at Disney.”

“Collapses, and they have to close the space to guests for months, with their damn tarpaulins… It’s a shame all the same!” said another user.

The Disneyland Paris Resort is one of The Walt Disney Company’s most beautiful and stunning theme park destinations, making this situation even more disappointing.

Disneyland Paris provides guests with countless hours of fun and magic, just like Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The resort is home to two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, each one featuring iconic rides and attractions that Disney fans know and love, as well as unique adventures that are exclusive to the European resort. Disneyland Paris, originally titled Euro Disney, opened in 1992, forever changing tourism in the country of France.

The resort’s most recent addition is Avengers Campus, a land that allows fans of Marvel Studios to get lost and immerse themselves completely in their own superhero or supervillain adventures.
