The Disney and Universal theme parks are some of the most popular and busiest vacation destinations on Earth. With exhilarating thrill rides, iconic dark rides, and immersive attractions around every corner, both Universal Studios Orlando and Walt Disney World offer some of the country’s best theme park experiences. The Universal Orlando Resort specifically is split up into two distinct theme parks, each offering guests the chance to escape the real world and explore their very own adventure. From Universal Studios Florida to Universal’s Islands of Adventure, guests can spend two days or two weeks at the resort.
Universal Orlando is also home to Universal CityWalk, a massive shopping and dining district dedicated to providing guests with some nighttime fun. However, theme parks are only as good as the guests inside them, with Universal Studios being no exception. Guests are encouraged to treat others with kindness and follow the rules laid out by the theme parks. Unfortunately, this does not always happen, with guests breaking the rules while inside the parks. If guests behave badly enough, they may find themselves banned from the parks entirely, which is exactly what happened to one infamous content creator.

Content Creator Gets Banned From Universal
Because of how popular and recognizable places like Universal Studios Florida, Magic Kingdom, and Disneyland Park are, they are prime places for content creators to make videos. Jack Doherty has recently become a controversial figure within the theme park community, with the creator getting trespassed by Disney earlier this month. Jack Doherty is a popular social media content creator with over 13 million subscribers on YouTube, pulling stunts and pranks while out in public. Earlier this week, Doherty was banned from Disney.
Now, Doherty has once again found himself being escorted out of a theme park by security, only this time it’s at Universal Studios.

In the video, shared on Doherty’s own Twitter account, he claims that he got “kicked out” of Universal Studios for wearing a Mickey Mouse hat. This is hardly against the rules, so it seems like Doherty is not telling the entire story. In his original Disney ban video, Doherty is seen cracking jokes about getting banned, standing outside of the theme parks. In this new video, Doherty is being escorted by several security team members in what appears to be a parking garage. Doherty states that he is getting “kicked out” of Universal, but the title of the post states that he got “banned.”
It is not specified if Doherty was banned from Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood. Doherty is now prohibited from visiting both Universal Studios and Disney, meaning there are only a few major theme parks left in the country that he can enter.
As we’ve stated multiple times, theme parks are only as good as the guests inside them, meaning it’s crucial that guests follow the rules and treat everyone with respect and kindness. Over the last year, there have been several shocking incidents occurring at Disney theme parks involving guests breaking the rules. Some incidents result in violence, like a massive, bloody brawl outside of Magic Kingdom. Others end with people behind bars, with multiple guests arrested for property theft during the Christmas season. Some guests have even jumped out of their ride vehicles to take pictures with the attraction’s set pieces.
