While Cedar Point remains exempt from Cedar Fair Entertainment Company’s strict chaperone policy, other theme parks owned and operated by the entertainment giant have not been so lucky.

Inside the Magic recently reported on Carowinds resuming operations for the year while barring select guests from entering the park unaccompanied. Other Cedar Fair-owned amusement parks like Knott’s Berry Farm in California, Kings Island in Ohio, and Worlds of Fun in Missouri continue to enforce the company’s chaperone policy as well, aiming to ensure the safety of all guests and park employees.

If you’ve never visited Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, the amusement park is described as follows:

Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, is A Place Like No Other™. The second-oldest amusement park in North America is home to 68 rides, including 18 roller coasters, the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, three kids’ areas, overnight accommodations, live shows, a mile-long beach, special events for the whole family and more. With so much to do, it’s easy to see why families have chosen Cedar Point as their American summertime tradition for more than 150 years.
