While some may believe that the “Disney magic” is completely gone at Walt Disney World Resort, there are still many signs that point to it being very much alive.

“The Most Magical Place on Earth” has had its fair share of “less-than-magical” incidents over the last few years, particularly when it comes to Disney World guest behavior. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom have become places where rude guests and entitled behavior have run wild, particularly when it comes to line-jumping and being courteous to others.

In addition, many guests have complained about the alleged dwindling cast member experience and that the theme park area has become much less “magical” in its offerings, especially since the pandemic. Despite all these complaints– whether it be about Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane, or whether it be about other controversial issues– Disney continues to be a popular tourist destination.

Just recently, Disney World proved that the magic is still very much alive after widespread reports over the last week that indicated there were numerous rare character experiences happening around the theme parks. One of the most popular? Seeing Belle and the Beast walking around France in EPCOT. A guest posted a photo of this while they were visiting EPCOT last week.

“Belle was there too in her yellow ball gown but I wasn’t quick enough to get my phone out and get her picture. Darn! We just got out of the Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long and who was there WALKING THROUGH Les Halles in the France Pavillion? What we’re they doing there? I have no idea where they went after. Belle is the only princess name my daughter can say, so I say Belle is her favorite. Anyway, this is the kind happy surprise and Disney magic we keep coming back for.”

Les Halles, located in the enchanting France Pavilion at EPCOT, beckons visitors with the irresistible aromas of freshly baked pastries and the promise of authentic French culinary delights. As guests step into this charming bakery and café, they are greeted by a display of exquisite pastries, sandwiches, and salads, all inspired by the rich culinary traditions of France. From delicate éclairs to buttery croissants, each treat is crafted with precision and care, transporting guests to the quaint streets of Paris.

With last week being Valentine’s Day, Disney pulled out numerous rare attractions for guests to enjoy, mostly in the form of rare characters making their way around certain areas of the theme parks.

In addition to Belle and the Beast, you may have seen Gaston and his mirror walking around, as well as Jasmine and Aladdin, Mulan and Li Shang, Snow White and Prince Florian, and Aurora and Prince Phillip.
