While anyone can go to Disney World, it is very clear that the theme park does market itself to families much more.

At Disney World, families can embark on enchanting adventures across various theme parks, each offering a unique and magical experience. In the iconic Magic Kingdom, explore classic attractions like Cinderella’s Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the whimsical “it’s a small world.” At EPCOT, families can journey around the world in the World Showcase, experiencing diverse cultures and futuristic innovations in Future World.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom invites families to discover the wonders of nature, with attractions like Pandora – The World of Avatar and the thrilling Expedition Everest roller coaster. Meanwhile, Disney’s Hollywood Studios immerses visitors in the world of movies and entertainment, featuring attractions such as Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on Sunset Boulevard.

When it comes to family-friendly rides, Magic Kingdom’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight are favorites, offering whimsical adventures suitable for all ages. At EPCOT, Soarin’ Around the World provides a breathtaking simulated hang-gliding experience. Families can also enjoy the Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, offering an immersive safari experience.

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Land features rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania!, bringing beloved characters to life in interactive experiences. These parks collectively offer a diverse range of attractions, ensuring that families can create lasting memories together in the magical world of Disney.

While Disney is magical, there are starting to be less than magical issues going on in the theme parks.

At the moment, security has started to crack down at the Disney parks worldwide. At Disneyland Park, we recently learned that a man went streaking in the “it’s a small world” attraction. The man shared his naked body to hundreds of guests, including children. It was later discovered that he was on drugs, and was arrested for his drug use as well as public indecency.

Now, Disneyland has upped their security.

At Walt Disney World, we are seeing a slew of trespasses being given out, with some guests not even allowed in the parks.

Disney has evolved into a favored destination for content creators, a trend that comes as no surprise given the plethora of filming opportunities it offers. However, the content landscape within the Disney sphere has become highly saturated, with numerous creators engaging in similar activities. In a quest to distinguish themselves, some have resorted to controversial methods.

One prevalent tactic among creators seeking attention is to flout Disney World’s dress code. Disney’s official website emphasizes the importance of proper attire in maintaining a family-friendly environment, stating, “Ensuring that the parks are family-friendly is an important part of the Disney experience.” Attire deemed too revealing, featuring negative or vulgar content, or considered inappropriate is prohibited. In the past, if a guest unintentionally violated the dress code, Disney would typically allow them to choose a suitable shirt from the park’s store at no cost.

However, a viral video depicting such an incident prompted a shift in this leniency. Subsequently, numerous creators deliberately test Disney’s policies by donning questionable clothing, seeking to capture any ensuing confrontation on camera. Contrary to the previous practice, they are now neither provided a complimentary shirt nor permitted entry; instead, they must return to their accommodation, change into suitable attire, and then re-enter the park.

In another instance, a video went viral on TikTok featuring a man jumping into EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon as part of a bet. The aftermath of this stunt led to the removal of gondolas near the Italy pavilion. These incidents highlight the evolving dynamics of content creation within the Disney environment, where controversy becomes a means of standing out in a crowded digital landscape.

Now, it seems that creators are being accused of exploiting their kids while using Disney as a backdrop.

Business Insider reported, “A TikTok duo has responded to allegations of child exploitation after a video criticizing their vacation content schedule went viral.

Lilly Davis, and her husband Paul, who have 171,000 followers on their TikTok account dearanddarling, posted a video on Monday in which they spoke about the accusations they had asked their six children to create 40 pieces of content while on holiday in Disney World.”

Lilly Davis has since spoken out on the accusations, “A very large TikTok account has made an outrageous video that has reached millions of people accusing us of truly egregious and more importantly, false claims,” said Davis. “And as a result, we are being attacked from multiple angles.”

The claim originally came from KC Davis, a content creator on TikTok, as well as an author and counselor, who has 1.6 million followers on her account domesticblisters. The original video has since been deleted, but outrage has already sparked.

Lilly stated, “Then she used my face and my video as a perfect example of a family content creator who exploits her children and makes them perform, and she states that I’m going to require our six children to make 40 videos while on our Disney World vacation.”

The original claims came from a spreadsheet that listed all of the conent the family planned to get done, with scheduled videos for just the kids.

Lilly and Paul’s video can be seen below:

How lovely would the world be if we all lead with kindness and compassion, giving each other the benefit of the doubt? May we be quick to seek understanding and slow to blindly attack. #kindnessandcompassion #adhd #depression Lilly Davis Disney Spreadsheet

While some fans stood by the duo, others still noted that they feel regulations should be implemented for family vloggers to give children a voice.

Do you think that filming children at Disney for content is exploitation?
