Disneyland is home to so many incredible experiences, with each one providing millions of guests with memories that will last a lifetime. From Space Mountain to Pirates of the Caribbean, there’s really no end in sight to the magic. However, some memories are better left forgotten, and what happened Sunday evening is one of those memories.
The incident took place at Disneyland’s version of “it’s a small world” shortly after the attraction broke down. Guests are encouraged to remain seated while a ride or attraction is stopped, as this not only keeps them safe but it also ensures the ride can operate safely as well. Most ride stoppages last mere seconds, meaning there’s no reason for guests to panic and exit their vehicles. However, in the past, we’ve seen guests take matters into their own hands, exiting the ride vehicles on their own.
According to several online discussion boards, one guest was reportedly naked and took off their clothes before disembarking, “it’s a small world.” This is not the first time we’ve seen guests take off their clothes while inside the Disney theme parks, but this is the first time we’ve seen it happen while at an actual attraction.

We are not sure what led this particular guest to leave the ride or take their clothes off. We will continue to monitor this situation and update our story as needed.
This marks the second bizarre incident to take place on this particular ride, with the other involving a guest attempting to retrieve their phone from the shallow waters of “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom. Inside the Magic reported on the video which went viral on TikTok and X (Twitter). The guest leans out of their boat, almost to the point where they would have fallen out into the actual water on the ride. This was done in front of hundreds of guests, surely causing a few to worry and a lot more to laugh.
The Disney theme parks feature a comprehensive list of rules that guests need to follow. These range from dress code regulations to important safety information. Part of what keeps Disney so magical is ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere, and stripping certainly does not align with these rules.
