Since the original Disneyland Resort opened in 1955, guests have been able to expect the best of the best from Disney when it comes to incredible theme park rides, attractions, and experiences. The newest additions to the Disney parks and resorts are quite possibly some of the best amusement park rides in the world, with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Avatar Flight of Passage raising the bar high when it comes to creating immersive and story-rich attractions for guests to enjoy.
The Universal Orlando Resort is not far behind, with new attractions like Jurassic World VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure becoming some of the most beloved theme park rides in the country. Soon, Universal will once again make a name for itself when Epic Universe officially opens in 2025.
This expansion will act as the resort’s third theme park alongside Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, featuring dozens of new experiences themed to various properties, including a land dedicated to Nintendo and Mario.

Despite the amazing modern-day marvels that both theme parks now feature, some of the best attractions date back several decades. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will find The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, one of the most beloved and iconic theme park rides not just in the history of The Walt Disney Company but the world.
A version of this attraction can be found at Walt Disney World, Tokyo DisneySea, and Disneyland Paris, with a former location once being found inside Disney California Adventure. This version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was transformed into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, and despite losing an iconic ride, fans have deemed this new experience a worthy successor.
However, there wouldn’t be any versions without the original in Walt Disney World, which first opened in 1994 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since then, this ride has become the unofficial mascot and icon of the park, with many associating it with the Walt Disney World Resort before other landmarks such as Cinderella Castle and the giant EPCOT “golf ball.” The ride has remained unchanged in Florida since it opened, only undergoing operational upgrades.
However, the version found in Disneyland Paris will soon be receiving a major renovation.

As we stated earlier, guests can also find The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disneyland Paris, specifically inside Walt Disney Studios Park. It was recently revealed by @DisneyphileLIVE on X (Twitter) that the queue for this attraction would be undergoing some changes in Disneyland Paris.
Currently, the outdoor section of the queue is uncovered, but it will soon be receiving a covering.

“A quick look at the outdoor queue area at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, which will soon be completely covered.”

There is no timeline for this project’s completion, but we can assume things will move fairly quickly, considering the size of the project itself. The queue for the version of the ride found at Walt Disney World is also mostly uncovered, though there is a lot more shade. We have to say that, aside from the ride being one of our favorites, the queue for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is also one of our favorites to wait in in all of the Disney parks.
We have to say that having a covering over the outdoor queue will be amazing, especially on those brutal summer days.
Disneyland Paris is home to many incredible rides and attractions, with the newest addition to the resort being Avengers Campus. Much like the version found at Disneyland, Avengers Campus allows guests to get lost in their very own superhero stories as they encounter their favorite Marvel characters like Thor, Loki, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange.
Take a look at a ride-through of Disneyland Paris’ version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror down below, thanks to excellent footage from @PeteMcDevittShow on YouTube.
