New Campus for Team Members Announced by Universal

Just moments ago, industry insider and digital journalist Scott Gustin on Twitter tweeted some awesome new photos and information regarding this upcoming campus for Team Members at Universal.

Per the tweet above:

Universal Orlando today announced plans for a new campus hub “UO Team Member Campus Commons,” an “all-in-one location for Team Members” that will include an all-new dining venue “Backlot Bistro.”

Scott Gustin was able to grab more information for us regarding this fantastic new experience for Team Members:

To quote the tweet above:

The facility, which is being developed by Universal Creative, will offer spaces to “socialize, enjoy a meal, visit Team Member services, shop at the Team Member exclusive shop or make a bank deposit at FAIRWINDS.” Universal says construction will start in a few weeks.

Gustin also grabbed some beautiful renderings of the new facility coming soon.

The facility will be called “UO Team Member Campus Commons.”

Universal Attacked for Bringing Back Team Members” Too Early” After COVID Pandemic – Universal News

It will be an innovative, all-in-one place for Team Members to socialize, eat, visit Team Member Services, cash their checks, deposit money, buy exclusive merch, food, and so much more.

With all these Team Members’ hard work on any given day, it’s nice to see Universal Orlando Resort put its employees first.

COVID-19 brought choice to everyone, including those working at Theme Parks like Universal. After experiencing multiple attacks from fans and Guests slamming Univeral for bringing their Team Members back “too early,” it seems Universal has clapped back with this significant announcement.

Universal announced last year that they would hire nearly 3,000 new employees.

With COVID no longer holding the world down, Universal is not letting down with so many new announcements like this one.

Some other announcements made by Universal recently have been a new Halloween Horror Night experience for the entire year for horror fans to enjoy in Vegas.

Universal also announced a new Minions Land coming to Universal Orlando Resort, changing the company’s name to Universal Destinations & Experiences.
