The latest Muppets project, The Muppets Mayhem, will be debuting next week on Disney+, which centers around the fictional Muppets band releasing their first album. As a clever tie-in for the show, Disney is releasing the fictional album into the real world.

As described by Disney, the series will focus on Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, the Muppets band that has been rockin’ out for over 45 years as they attempt to record their first-ever studio album thanks to the help of a music executive. As the series ventures through the current-day recording industry, this old-school band will have to face the music if they want to go platinum. And going platinum is something that could happen for this band in the real world if the fans enjoy the music enough.

It was announced in a behind-the-scenes video on Disney’s YouTube channel that the music from the series will be available for streaming, but even more interesting is that the rock album will be available for purchase at the Disney Music Emporium. For those unaware, the Music Emporium is the best place to get exclusive Disney soundtracks on vinyl. The Muppets Mayhem soundtrack on vinyl can now be pre-ordered in a translucent electric purple with blue swirls.

Although the official track list is not yet available, fans can accept the song from the show’s trailer, “Rock On,” to be featured on the album. That song is also available on YouTube, and it’s pretty catchy.  There have also been a number of musical guests revealed for the show, so there may be some guest appearances on the album as well. The album might also feature collaborations between Electric Mayhem and famous DJs such as Zedd, Steve Aoki, and Deadmau5 since they were revealed in the trailer.
