The Walt Disney Company has held biannual D23 Expo and Conventions since 2009. Generally held at the Anaheim Convention Center, D23 is a two-day conference that pays homage to Disney legend outs fans near Walt Disney Imagineering magic and releases some exciting details about upcoming films from Walt Disney Animation Studio. Even STAR WARS and Marvel Studios, National Geographic, and Disney Channel news is on the schedule for D23 events.
When it comes to learning more about the magic, D23 often leaves Guests with new information from the Disney Parks, presented in the highly-anticipated Disney Parks Panel. Updates to attractions like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, where Disney Cruise Line news like when the Disney Wish announcement was introduced, and updates to Disney Parks worldwide have been announced at previous D23 events.
D23 2022 in Anaheim Convention Center brought teasers-like additions to Disney Parks, and The Disney Legend Ceremony honored Marvel Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. From hearing the big news from Walt Disney Studios to browsing the D23 Expo Marketplace, attending this ultimate Disney fan experience is the stuff of dreams.
D23 2023 looks slightly different this year, and we could not be more excited. This ultimate Disney fan event is taking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The Gold Member exclusive Destination D23 will be held September 8-10, 2023, at Walt Disney World at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, FL. Located near beautiful Bay Lake, FL., this exclusive event is just a short drive for those Disney Gold Members near Tampa, FL., or driving from north Florida areas near Jacksonville, FL.
Presented by Lug, this sold-out event will celebrate the magic of Disney storytelling. This exclusive event sold out quickly after tickets became available on March 14, 2023. In honor of 100 years of Disney magic, we can expect to turn back the clock to those early days of Disney magic when Roy and Walt Disney were dreaming up movie magic at Disney Brothers Studio as they crafted movies and drafted animated characters. You’ll even learn some Disney facts that even the biggest fans don’t know! In the merchandise area, attendees can shop in the Walt Disney Company Store and browse the iconic Ink & Paint line.
