Credit: DisneyDisney is marking its 100th anniversary in 2023, and to celebrate, Disney Parks Blog released new info about exciting new limited-release merch commemorating this milestone anniversary.
This new merch is part of the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection and is filled with so many new pieces of clothing, accessories, and other items that can be found on shopDisney and at both the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort.
One of the most iconic pieces of Disney merch you can find, especially at the Parks, is Mickey Mouse ear hats or Minnie Mouse ear headbands, and this collection is no different. First up is the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse Ear Hat and the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Minnie Mouse Ear Headband. These are currently available on shopDisney and at Disneyland and coming soon to Disney World. These items come in a special box and contain a velvet base with reflective effects.
Other hats and headbands include a purple-themed Disney100 Platinum Celebration Minnie Mouse Purple Ear Headband, as well as Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey and Minnie Mouse Purple Ear Hat. These are also available on both shopDisney and Disneyland, but not yet at Disney World.
Other than hats, Spirit Jerseys are always another popular item in these types of collections. These are available in both kids’ and adults’ sizes on shopDisney, Disneyland, and Disney World. These specific jerseys, also called Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse and Friends Spirit Jerseys, show Mickey Mouse and Friends in their celebratory outfits. The jerseys themselves contain dye treatment, metallic foil fireworks, and the classic puffy glitter logos for both American Resorts. And your pet can even have one, as they are made for pets as well.
Moving on to accessories, there is a Disney100 Platinum Celebration Minnie Mouse Loungefly Mini Backpack found only on shopDisney but coming soon to both Disneyland and Disney World. This backpack contains 3D Minnie Mouse ears with both a 3D bow and a silver tone overlay.
Besides the backpacks, there are also Disney100 Platinum Celebration Dooney & Bourke Bags, which portray Disney characters in their 100th-anniversary outfits. In addition, the bags have an embossed commemorative tag, genuine leather details, and silver tone hardware. These can be found on shopDisney or at either of the American Resorts.
More clothing in this collection includes Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse Pullover Hoodies with matching Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse Jogger Pants. These are made of soft cotton with embroidered art and can be found on shopDisney, Disneyland, and soon, Disney World.
As far as home decor, there are also several items in store, such as the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Throw Pillow, which pairs well with the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse and Friends Throw. These cozy items are available on shopDisney and Disneyland and will come to Disney World soon.
And, just in time for the holiday season, the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Mickey Mouse and Friends Ornament Set is available to make your festive Christmas tree even more magical.
