Lounge Reservations Now Available at EPCOT's Most Popular Restaurant

Take note, Disney foodies! EPCOT’s most popular restaurant is now offering advanced dining reservations for its lounge. That’s right, we’re talking about the ever-so-popular Space 220 Restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort.

Located in the former Future World, now the new EPCOT neighborhood of World Discovery, Space 220 Restaurant opened in September 2021 and has been filling up with advanced dining reservations ever since. The table-service restaurant is so popular that obtaining a reservation 60-days in advance is nearly impossible. Of course, there was a trick around not being able to snag a reservation. You could always see if the Space 220 Lounge had room… but it looks like that is changing!

When visiting EPCOT, it’s not uncommon to see a line formed outside of Space 220. This line is for Park Guests that are interested in dining at the themed space restaurant but don’t have a dining reservation. The lounge was once open for walk-ups. It seems like Disney is putting a stop to the walk-up option for the lounge.

You’ll now see on the Walt Disney World website that Space 220 Lounge now offers advanced dining reservations. We had to check it out for ourselves and yes, we were able to land a lounge reservation.

Disney notes the Space 220 Lounge experience as a chance to “Soak in the Stars” with an excellent lounge menu and description:

Travel 220 miles above Earth to this casual lounge aboard the Centauri Space Station. Your journey begins with a special space elevator ride where you will ascend to the stars and enjoy an aerial view of EPCOT. Once you arrive, relax in an intimate setting, conveniently located near the bar, and take in breathtaking day and night panoramic views. You are also welcome to order from an a la carte menu, featuring out-of-this-world offerings, such as Astro Deviled Eggs, Chicken on Waffle, Short Rib Sliders, and New England Lobster Roll. An assortment of beverages, including wines, spirits, and brews are also available.

If you’re ready to make a dining reservation at Space 220 Lounge, don’t wait! Be sure to snag your lounge reservation 60 days in advance as we suspect reservations will go as quickly as they do for the restaurant portion of Space 220.
