The Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris is gearing up for a massive “royal treatment” transformation, which will result in the theming of many Disney Princesses and Princes — including Cinderella, Tangled, and Frozen!
We already knew that this transformation was coming, but Disney Parks Blog has just shared that the preparations for the upcoming “royal treatment” have begun!
According to Disney Parks Blog, the early phase of preparations at the Disneyland Hotel have begun:
The massive transformation of Disneyland Hotel – the flagship icon located at the entrance to Disneyland Park – has just begun after several months of preparation following the announcement in April. This early phase has readied the site for the works to come, in particular emptying the hotel of its furniture, with many pieces made available to cast members. As part of the resort’s ongoing efforts to support the surrounding community, Disneyland Paris also donated more than 1,500 furniture pieces to three organizations supporting local communities.
With the progress of this exciting project, Disneyland Paris continues its strategy of enhancing the guest experience through innovation and a commitment to excellence. By infusing more Disney franchises and storytelling in this 5-star hotel, guests will be welcomed with a renewed, immersive experience.
If you are not aware, when the Disneyland Hotel reopens, it will take on a new royal theme, highlighting many fan-favorite Disney Princesses and Princes. According to Disney Parks Blog:
These beautifully decorated rooms and suites will draw inspiration from animated classics such as “Beauty and the Beast,” “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty,” as well as recent hits such as “Tangled” and “Frozen.”
While this transformation is happening, all hotel areas will also be upgraded and redesigned to offer newer technology, including online check-in and in-room connectivity, as well as expansions at the boutique and fitness areas. Some of the things Guests can look forward to is an extended pool, spa and gym!
And for younger Guests, the Princess for a Day experience will return with a “reimagined comeback providing an even more royal experience,” according to Disney Parks Blog.
