Walt Disney World Resort Guests will soon have a convenience that has not been known in nearly two years.

Since reopening last year, Walt Disney World has yet to bring the trams back, but that all will change soon. Disney announced last week that the trams would be returning to Magic Kingdom this month and that the parking lot transportation system would be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT in 2022.

Twitter user The Mouse And More- Adam (@TheMouseAndMore) posted a video of the trams practicing in Walt Disney World’s Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) on Monday evening and said:

There is a tram practicing in the TTC parking lot!!!

The tram is a parking lot transportation system that takes Guests from their section of the lot– which is marked by Disney characters– to the front of the Park. In the case of the Magic Kingdom, trams transport Guests from their cars to the Monorail station and Ferry Boat.

With the trams gone, many Guests have been forced to walk long distances– especially with crowds picking back up and parking lots becoming fuller– just to get to the Park.

Disney is prepared for a busy holiday season, which is already in full swing, and recently released more Park reservations for December and 2022. With crowd levels continuing to rise, the trams will be a much-needed commodity for Guests making their way to any of the Walt Disney World Parks.
