This offsite complex is slowly growing as the master plan of the new retail and living center called Flamingo Crossings continues to develop. Most recently, Target has opened just in time for the holidays!

Disney recently welcomed the Cast Member College Program back with new apartments in Flamingo Crossing. Cast Members can now easily get to and from Disney property with very little travel time on Western Way. New hotels have opened such as Home2 Suites by Hilton and SpringHill Suites by Marriott. As someone who has stayed at both of these hotels, we can say the ease of getting to and from Walt Disney World is incredible, all while paying offsite hotel prices!

Flamingo Crossings is still very much so a construction site with plenty of space to build and developments slowly come together. With that said, we have no doubt the area will be booming by this time next year with all the proposed shops, hotels, and restaurants coming to the space. With Target being the second shop after Walgreens, we feel like the rush of people is about to increase drastically!

With 50th Anniversary merchandise currently available at Target, it’s no wonder Disney fans can’t get enough of shopping at Target!
If you’re visiting the Walt Disney World Resort area and in the mood for a trip to Target, take a quick drive up Western Way for the new store opening! Even though Target at Flamingo Crossings is scheduled to host its grand opening on November 14, 2021, the store is already welcoming Guests with a soft opening as of November 9.
