How You Can Be in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’!

There are few studios that can claim to have as much success as Marvel does right now. Every movie and television show the studio puts out seems to be an immediate hit and gets fans buzzing. Between WandaVision and Loki to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, it seems that there is nothing that Marvel can do that fans won’t love.

Marvel wouldn’t be Marvel without the exceptional team that makes the movies — from the writers to costume designers, makeup artists, camera operators, grips, and more. Everyone who works on a Marvel film or television show is a key piece of the puzzle that brings the story to life.

And now, you can be a part of that Marvel magic! Marvel is currently looking for actors and actresses to play extras in its highly-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. posted information about the auditions and revealed that Marvel is looking for extras to fill roles as both aliens and security guards in the film.

For those who would like to audition for the alien roles, here is more information on what Marvel is looking for.

Aliens: All Genders, 18-60

character looks: quirky types, thin/gaunt faces, unique features, longer necks, crooked/unique noses, imperfect teeth, strong facial bone structures/intense, tough, rough, badass types, amputees, bald men & women, long hair, scarred, shaved heads, facial hair or clean shaven, etc… Note: some of these types will have prosthetics and some will not.

Ethnicity: All Ethnicities

When it comes to the Security Guard roles, Marvel posted the following information on Backstage.
Security Guards: All Genders, 25-55
average to bigger body types (bulky not heavyset), with weapons training, hair must be short/buzz cut or willing to have a hair cut – this includes women (must have short hair or willing to have it cut short). Pay bump for cutting hair is TBD.
The pay for these roles will begin at $88 per day — additional payment will be issued for those actors who are required to wear prosthetics (for some alien roles) and those cast will also receive an additional $50 each time they are COVID tested.

Filming for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is scheduled to take place in the Atlanta, GA area, as most Marvel films do and that is where the studio would like to find most of its talent. The Backstage post does not say when applications will stop being accepted for the roles, but the page is set to expire on November 30.
