Walt Disney World Resort will be loaded with runners as Disney prepares to launch their first race weekend back after COVID closures. Goodbye virtual run, Disney is launching the 2021 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend with runDisney events taking place in person between November 5-7. As runners are preparing to experience a one-of-a-kind Disney Villains themed run and after-party, we feel the need to let you in on a little secret. Not a runner? No worries – you too can go to EPCOT’s after-hours party!

runDisney is hosting a “Post-Race Party” at EPCOT for after-hours access to the Disney Park. The event will take place after the races are complete on November 7 beginning at 9:30 pm, but Party ticket holders are allowed to enter EPCOT as early as 5:00 pm. This early entry will allow ticket holders to experience the new nighttime spectacular and fireworks, Harmonious. The Park will remain open for ticket holders until 12:30 am. Disney has announced EPCOT favorites like the Food & Wine Global Marketplaces, popular rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Spaceship Earth’s Beacon of Magic, and more will be open for the after-hours event. On top of that, special Disney character sightings will also be available.

Plus! Party Guests will enjoy a “specialty themed nightcap called the “Evil Elixir.” The sinister concoction features a mixture of white rum, blue curaçao, sour apple pucker, pineapple juice, white grape juice, and Sprite, a wickedly delicious drink even a true villain would approve of. ” YUM.

Participants of the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon and Disney Two Course Challenge automatically receive entry with their race registration. Not a runner? Purchase your after-hours ticket by visiting runDisney.com. The cost for the special event ticket is $89 per person.
