Guests were eager to once again set sail aboard the Disney Cruise Line as the Disney Dream officially welcomed Guests and Disney characters back on August 9! Though Disney Cruise Line has resumed after over a year of not sailing, the ships have enhanced health and safety measures to promote wellness for Guests and crew aboard the ship and in the destinations that Disney Cruise Line will visit.
With this being said, things may look a bit different than they did on your last Disney Cruise — including how you can see your favorite Disney characters. Well, Disney Cruise Line has just shared some additional information as well as a video showing a sneak peek at what future cruises can expect while aboard Disney Cruise Line!

Disney Parks Blog shared a new video today showcasing just exactly what Guests can expect when aboard Disney Cruise Line:

They went on to explain a new interactive musical moment with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey will welcome Guests onto the ship. Per Disney Parks Blog:
The magic of a Disney cruise begins as soon as you step onto the ship, and we’ve added even more fun to your first moments onboard. Following our signature announcement of your family when embarking the ship, you will be invited to step into the atrium for an interactive musical moment with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey.

But that’s not all because Guests dining in Enchanted Garden will be able to see new entertainment featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. And for those of you who are fans of the Disney Princesses, if you dine at Royal Palace (Disney Dream) and Royal Court (Disney Fantasy), you will see select Princesses as you enter the restaurant and enjoy live music during dinner.

Disney Cruise Line Guests can also spot select characters throughout the cruise including Goofy at Walt Disney Theatre, Disney Princesses greeting in the atrium, and even the Green Army Patrol roaming the upper decks! And if you are visiting Castaway Cay, keep those eyes peeled because favorite Disney friends have even been spotted along the beach.
