Disney World Cast Members announced this morning from inside EPCOT that the fan-favorite attraction, Test Track, will not open with the rest of the theme park.
One of our Inside the Magic Team Members is inside EPCOT this morning and heard a Cast Member make an announcement that Test Track will not open with the rest of the Park. At this time, we are unsure of the reasoning behind this delayed opening, but Inside the Magic will update you as we get information.
As you can see in the image below, Disney Cast Members are standing outside of Test Track to inform any Guests wishing to ride Test Track that the ride is not operable at this time.
Again, at this time we do not know why Test Track is not opening with the rest of the Park, but Inside the Magic will update you as we get information.
More on Test Track
If you have never been on this thrilling EPCOT ride, the official Walt Disney World website describes Test Track as:
Cruise over to the gleaming Chevrolet Design Center to create your own virtual concept car. When you’re done, buckle up in a 6-passenger “SIM Car” and take it for an exhilarating spin on the test track.
Rev through rough terrain and obstacles along the winding circuit. Accelerate through straightaways, maneuver switchbacks through inclement weather, hug curves banked at 50-degree angles and scale hills up to 3 stories high.
Reach speeds of up to 65 miles per hour as you put your car through its paces. After each test, check the scoreboard to see how your vehicle performed!
