Every day, it feels like Walt Disney World is inching closer and closer to returning to what was once “normal”. Hotels and restaurants are reopening on a regular basis, buffets are coming back, and preparations for its 50th anniversary celebration are in full swing. However, some popular locations on property are still closed, much to the dismay of the people that love them.

One of those locations is Jellyrolls dueling piano bar located on Disney’s Boardwalk right near EPCOT. Jellyrolls is not owned and operated by Disney, so Disney has no control over when the location opens. Jellyrolls has been closed since the pandemic forced Walt Disney World Resort to completely shut down in March 2020.

However, recent job postings might indicate that the piano bar is planning on reopening soon! Jellyrolls posted six job positions on Indeed.com and wants potential candidates to head down to the Boardwalk location where they can apply in person and receive an on-the-spot interview. In fact, Jellyrolls only wants in-person applicants and will not consider any applications that are not done in person.

According to Indeed, Jellyrolls is looking to fill the following positions:

  • Server and Bartender (2 postings)
  • Cashier/Customer Service
  • Cocktail Server/Server
  • Door Host/Security
  • Barback and Busser

The job posting indicates that the hourly pay for these positions can range from $7 to $13 per hour, plus tips. Those who are interested in working at the popular Boardwalk bar should go to Jellyrolls anywhere from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on either September 18 or September 19.

The Walt Disney World website gives some more information on the dueling piano bar.

Raise a glass as you enjoy the musical stylings of a pair of piano prodigies. No request is too obscure. These musical maestros can play anything. Well, almost anything. Go ahead—try to stump them!

Take your seat in front of a stage featuring twin baby grand pianos—and enjoy the show. The players take turns dazzling the audience with their showmanship and easy rapport. It’s a great time all around!

It is important to note that Jellyrolls has not given a reopening at this time.
