Disney World Annual Passes went back on sale this morning, which is drawing long lines at Guest Services inside the theme parks.

The new Annual Passes not only have new pricing, but new names as well. Guests can choose from the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, the Disney Pirate Pass, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, or the Disney Incredi Pass. As Annual Pass sales officially resumed this morning, Guests are eager to once again become an Annual Passholder and purchase one of the four options, causing a backup at Guest Services in the theme parks.

Lee L., member of the Annual Passholders – Walt Disney World Facebook group and Disney World Guest, shared the following images showing the line for Guest Services at Magic Kingdom this morning as Annual Passes went back on sale for the first time in over a year.

In the images below, you can see just how long the line for Guest Services is as Guests are lined up all the way near where the buses drop you off.

The theme parks have been pretty empty these last few weeks despite last weekend being Labor Day weekend, so seeing this Guest Services line may be shocking to some. Though, we do want to note the length of the line is more than likely due to the resumption of Annual Pass sales, which went back on sale this morning for the first time in over one year.

Lee told Inside the Magic that luckily, he and his party already have their Annual Passes, so they did not have to wait in this line; however, as they walked past part of the line, they overheard a Cast Member tell other Guests the wait would be at least one hour from that point.

Guests were also experiencing issues trying to purchase an Annual Pass on the website this morning, which you can read more about here.

The new Annual Passes not only have new pricing, but new names as well — Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi Pass. Guests who wish to purchase a new Disney World Annual Pass can do so by visiting the Walt Disney World website or at Guest Services at one of the four theme parks beginning today. Guests who already have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass will not be required to select a new pass from the list of options until their old Annual Pass has expired.

It is important to remember that most Annual Passes are available only to Florida Residents. In fact, only one pass — the most expensive Incredi-Pass — is available to all out-of-state Guests. The only out-of-state Guests who have another Pass option are DVC members, who can purchase either the Incredi-Pass or the Sorcerer Pass no matter what state they live in. Florida Residents can purchase any of the four Pass types.

Will you be purchasing one of the new Annual Passes? Let us know in the comments below.
