During your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, be sure to voyage over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Amongst the many foodstuffs and eateries, you’ll find two new treats themed to our wayfinding chieftain, Moana. Summer has been good to us at Disney World, and these seasonal additions prove it!
‘Moana’ Cupcake and Smoothie Voyage to WDW
Settle into Captain Cook’s for a Moana-inspired cupcake at the Polynesian Resort. The Moana cupcake features Moana’s boat and a chocolate sail for wayfinding, and a white chocolate cupcake topper printed with Moana. The frosting top is a combination of land and sea colors, set off with a beautiful Polynesian flower of icing.
Inside this sweet recipe, you’ll find a large helping of vanilla cupcake cake, a center of toasted coconut mousse, and vanilla buttercream on top. Pick up this sharable treat for $5.99.
The new Moana Smoothie, flavored with vanilla, watermelon, mango, guava, and ginger sings with oceanic harmony. The smoothie is artfully topped with completely edible flowers, so go ahead and taste nature! While the Disney Parks account doesn’t mention where you can land this beverage, we found you can sip on it when visiting O’hana!
You may find the shape of the glass varies from day to day, but expect plenty of whipped cream on top and a beautiful bouquet of tropical, edible flowers.
We tasted these treats straight from the @DisneyParks TikTok account, where we hear from the filmmakers themselves! The Moana details abound in the new refurbishment of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, so keep your eyes peeled for the heart of TeFiti!
