There is plenty of skrim surrounding the construction that is ongoing at Flo’s V8 Cafe. While it is a bit distracting when you first see it, the good news is that the restaurant has remained open during this refurbishment. Flo’s V8 Cafe is of course in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.

You can use your Disneyland app to mobile order your food from Flo’s V8 Cafe, which is both easy and convenient.
Disney has not described what changes are being made to Flo’s V8 Cafe, so we will all just need to wait and see how the exterior looks when the scaffolding and skrim are removed. It is likely that these changes are small, and that the restaurant will look refreshed rather than changed. But since Disney has not confirmed the nature of the construction, that is just speculation.
Never enjoyed a meal at Flo’s V8 Cafe? Here is how Disney describes this quaint eatery:
Celebrate the pioneering spirit of the open road and home-style cooking at this kitschy Cars-themed café.
Diner-inspired classics, mouthwatering milkshakes and a ton of memorabilia make Flo’s V8 Cafe a priority pit stop—and Carburetor County’s most popular eatery. All of Flo’s delicious eats are served up in a jiffy, so you can fuel up on a speedy yet satisfying lunch or dinner before you head out on the highway.
Nostalgic and novel at the same time, Flo’s sports all kinds of automotive touches that put you inside the Disney•Pixar Cars movies while transporting you to a simpler time, from vintage-style gas pumps to tailpipe light fixtures to 2-toned tuck-and-roll upholstered banquettes!
Before you hit the road, be sure to check out Flo’s showroom housing mementos from her days as lead singer of the glamorous Motorama Girls—she’s fin-tastic! Another section is a museum showcasing the career of Cars racing legend Doc Hudson, also known as the Fabulous Hudson Hornet.

This is not the only refurbishment going on at the Disneyland Resort. Over at Disneyland there is currently ongoing construction going on in front of “it’s a small world” before the entrance to ToonTown. You can read more about that construction here.
