Disneyland is hard at work on some small refurbishment projects around the park.
Between ToonTown and Fantasyland, refurbishments continue. Let’s take a look at what is going on with the construction!

There is a walkway between Fantasyland and ToonTown that is close to both “it’s a small world” and Fantasyland Theater. There has been some ongoing construction in this area, and our reporter noted that Guests can hear the construction noises from the work going on behind the walls.

Disney has placed signage on the construction walls for Guests.

While this area is not overly large, the construction is definitely noticeable. We cannot wait to see what improvements have been made once the construction walls come down.
You can see “it’s a small world” in the background of this image to give you a better sense of where the construction is. “it’s a small world” is currently open, the construction is not impacting the attraction’s operations.

This is not the only project that is ongoing at Disneyland. Disney is bringing a brand new attraction to ToonTown. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will soon make its debut in ToonTown. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, but thankfully Disneyland fans will not need to travel to Florida to enjoy this new attraction.

If you are planning a trip to Disneyland next month it is worth mentioning another refurbishment that may impact your visit. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed for refurbishment starting September 7. You can read more details about that ride refurbishment here.Â
Disneyland recently reimagined their Annual Pass program, officially launching the Magic Key program. Before you plan your Disneyland visit be sure and check out all the info on the Magic Key here to see if this is the right ticket type for you.
